Terms of Service

Effective August 2026

Auramatic is built by a DJ, for DJs. These terms are the boring but necessary part. We have kept them as short and as plain as we can.

The short version

The full terms are below and they are the part that actually applies. This is just the map.

Who you are agreeing with

Auramatic is operated by Auraboros Creatives LLC, a New York limited liability company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Auraboros Creatives LLC, and "you" means you.

By creating an account or using Auramatic, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Auramatic is

Auramatic is a web app that helps you organize a DJ library. It reads the music files already on your computer, detects BPM and musical key, lets you label and group tracks, and exports crate structures for use in DJ software.

It runs in Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer. It relies on a browser feature for reading local folders that Safari and mobile browsers do not currently support. If your browser does not support it, the app will not work, and that is a limitation we cannot work around for you.

Your account

You need an account to use Auramatic. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Auramatic.

Please give us an email address that actually reaches you. It is how we contact you about your account and your billing.

Your music and your data

Your music is yours. We do not claim any ownership of your audio files, your metadata, your labels, or your crates.

Your library stays on your computer. Track information lives in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. We never upload your audio. Our privacy policy explains exactly what we do store, which is your email, your plan, your AI usage count, and anonymized usage events.

We do not modify your original files. Exports are written as copies.

You are responsible for your own backups. Browser storage can be cleared by you, by your browser, or by your operating system, and if that happens your labels and crates go with it.

What you are responsible for

You need the right to use the music you process with Auramatic. Auramatic is a tool for organizing a library you already have. It does not provide music, and it is not a way to obtain or distribute music you do not have rights to.

Please do not use Auramatic to break the law, to attack or overload the service, to work around usage limits or payment, to resell or rent access to your account, or to reverse engineer the app except where the law says you may.

Plans and billing

Auramatic has a Free plan and a Pro plan.

Free includes the core library tools and 10 AI messages per month. Pro is $9.99 per month and includes unlimited AI messages plus the Pro features described in the app.

The beta trial. Pro features are free for everyone until September 1, 2026. You do not need a card to use the trial. If you want Pro to continue after that date, you check out during the trial, and your card is charged for the first time on September 1, 2026. If you never check out, you are not charged anything and your account simply moves to the Free plan on that date.

Renewals. A Pro subscription renews automatically each month until it is cancelled. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in your settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro until then.

Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds. Our refund policy is a separate page and forms part of these terms.

If we ever offer a one-time or lifetime purchase option, the specific terms of that offer will be stated at the point of purchase.

The AI features

Auramatic's AI features send a snapshot of your library, meaning track titles, BPMs, keys, energy labels and similar information, to Anthropic's API in order to answer you. No audio is sent. Our privacy policy covers this in more detail.

AI output is a suggestion, not an instruction and not a guarantee. Setlists, crate ideas and any other AI response should be treated as a starting point for your own judgment. You are the DJ.

Energy labels are yours. Auramatic will suggest, but it will not assign an energy label to a track on your behalf without you confirming it.

"Unlimited" AI on Pro means without a monthly message cap, subject to reasonable use. If usage is automated, abusive, or so far outside normal use that it threatens the service, we may contact you and, if it continues, apply a limit. We will always talk to you before doing that.

Other companies' software

Auramatic exports files intended for use with other DJ software, and it is designed to replace a workflow that involves other tools.

Rekordbox, Serato, Mixed In Key, and any other product names mentioned in the app or in our materials are trademarks of their respective owners. Auramatic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. We describe them only to explain what Auramatic does and what it works with.

We cannot control what those products do in future versions. If one of them changes its file format and an Auramatic export stops importing cleanly, we will do our best to fix it, but we cannot promise compatibility we do not control.

Open source

Auramatic ships open source components to your browser. We list every one of them, with its license and a link to its source, on our licenses page.

Availability and changes

We are a small operation. We will try to keep Auramatic running and working well, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of bugs.

We may change, add, or remove features. If we remove something significant that you rely on as a paying customer, we will tell you by email, and if it matters enough to you, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.

Auramatic is currently in beta. It is genuinely still being built, and you should expect rough edges.

No warranty

Auramatic is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement.

To be specific about the thing that matters most here: automatic BPM and key detection is an estimate produced by audio analysis. It is usually good and it is sometimes wrong. Do not rely on it as the sole source of truth for a paid gig without checking it. That is why manual overrides exist and why we never overwrite a value you have set yourself.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost gigs, lost bookings, or lost data.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Auramatic is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty dollars.

None of this applies to liability that cannot legally be limited, and it does not cover our own fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Ending things

You can stop using Auramatic and delete your account at any time. Email auraboros.creatives@gmail.com and we will delete your account and associated data, and confirm when it is done.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to attack or abuse the service, or where we are required to by law. Except in cases of clear abuse or a legal requirement, we will contact you first and give you a chance to sort it out. If we close a paying account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of your billing period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will email you before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Auramatic after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel and stop using the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and we each agree to those courts having jurisdiction.

Nothing here takes away consumer rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
